Lünen is the city I lived in for the past 20 years. Its located in western Germany right at the border of the Ruhr-Area and the Münsterland. While the Ruhr-Area is a very industrialized area with a rich history of coal mining and steel-processing industries, the Münsterland is more rural with lots of agriculture and small villages.
Since I work full time and can only do photography in my spare time, most of my pictures are shot in Lünen or it surroundings. The Portfolio shows some of the best pictures I took around here. They showcase the interesting contrasts of this area with its beautiful and ugly sides.
